Subject: <VV> coil voltage (stock)

Hiya guys,

Today the 63' started acting up again (stumbling and quit once) and I'm
beginning to suspect that the coil is getting cooked. I checked voltage
going into the coil with the engine at idle and at about 2k RPM. I got 10.4
at idle and 11.1 at 2,000RPM... Do I remember correctly that it should be
much lower? If I recall it should be 7 volts or so? Assuming this is
higher than it should be I'll just run a new wire from the firewall and put
a new resistor in, I might even have one laying around if I can find it.

Thanks
