JR's got it. Take your Corvair Alternator face and fan off. Go to your FLAPS and ask for an alternator for a 79 Impala with a 350 ENG. That will get you a 78 amp alt. Wiring it is pretty easy, I got my re-wire kit from Larry Shapiro, I'm sure all the vendors offer one. HANK
