<VV> '63 turbo fuel return TEE - options?

My buddy's '63 Spyder (restored by me ten years ago) was by last night for the bi-annual replacement of the fuel return tee. Since we had no tee on hand, we just plugged the fuel return temporarily to prevent gas from leaking all over the place whenever the engine was running (basically, returning to the early-turbo configuration).

Has anyone got an improved solution for the flakey tee?
