In 1968, I was at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, in US Army Artillery AIT.  Guys
from Texas, Louisiana and Florida would ask me, as a California  native,
how I could stand to live there, in California, with all  those
earthquakes. I told them - "We have earthquakes, but we don't name  them
alphabetically every year!"
