<VV> Resistor wire or not?

It's inside the engine wiring harness. Cream colored wire with a red (brown)
tracer, if I remember.
This wire is at the third pin at the engine/body connector, and goes to the
yellow/blk (or blk/yel) lead on the starter two pin connector. Short the two
to bypass the resistance wire.

Subject: <VV> Resistor wire or not?

I am installing a Petronix ignition kit into a 1965 140 convertible. The
instructions mention the option of leaving or removing the resistor or wire
(for better performance), if there is one. So, is there one, and if so,
where is it?
Thanks,
Grant
