Toyota recommends (in the owners manual) 10k mile oil change intervals for my wife's 2010 4 cylinder Camry, but only if using 0W-20 synthetic oil.

My '91 F-150, 300 six, has done just fine with Mobil 1 changed at 15k miles for the last 225k miles.
