 If one can get their hands on a plasma cutter, that's the best way of all.

This has been my experience also. The last time I cut up a Corvair I used 
high quality Milwaukee blades in my Dewalt recip. Also used my air chisel a 
lot.
Not an easy job and I would not want to do it again.
A couple of pounds of C4 would be better!
