So far nobody has stated the easiest way to lower the back of an early Corvair is to use lower profile tires. Heck, some race tires are only 22" dia. Maybe find some 14 or 15" rims that would allow real low aspect tires like 40 series. I don't think they make a 185-40-13 but you never know. Clark Hartzel
