<VV> Original Lifters.... what's wrong with the replacement lifters?

The oil flow is intentionally restricted due to the push rod being 
above the rocker arm in Chevy V8s.
Also the adjustment range is maybe 1/10th of the  original Corvair 
lifter.

All this talk of resurfacing lifters.... begs the question to the OP 
(or anyone else):

What's wrong with the Sealed Power "disc valve" lifters ?
