<VV> Epsom Salt trick when charging dry battery?

Some time ago, someone on here offered some advice regarding a trick when  
charging a dry battery that involved adding some Epsom salts at some point 
in  the process.  I printed it out and saved it for the day I could use it  
and now, of course, can't put my hands on it.  Can anyone, please, refresh  
my recollection?
