Hi Guys!
 
I just wanted to put in my two cents on the #5997 issue. I hope Alan gets
his price! 
Corvairs are way undervalued when compared to other Chevies of their time!
I sold a very nice 69 convertible (Rick Norris' old car) a few years ago for
$17,500.
I am now struggling to sell my 65 Turbo Corsa for less than half what I have
invested 
in it over the last three years!
 
I am a charter member of CORSA and a lifelong typical "el cheapo" type of
Corvair buyer.
I have bought many over the years for way less than $500, yet I have very
rarely made any money
on a Corvair. Heck, I sold Yenko YS108 for $3,500 in the late '70's!
 
I still look for bargain Corvairs but I will never begrudge anyone for
asking a premium price for a 
nice and/or rare Corvair. Good luck Alan!
