<VV> Kinda OT: Car-hauler recommendation?

Any recommendations/ warnings on long-distance car haulers for
a modern daily-driver?

My girlfriend wants to 'donate' her car to her brother several
states away but doesn't feel like driving there and flying back.

She's gotten on-line quotes from $500 to $1500 so far- both extremes
sound 'sketchy' to me.

Who have you had good results with?
