<VV> Rust treatment (Corvair content maybe?)

I haven't used that particular brand but have used Ospho, osphoric acid as I
understand it. Used to be for metal treatment, which resulted in dark gray
to black surface. Then it was upposed to be washed and dried. Then covered
with some type of protective coating. Inside doors, rocker panels, behind
hinge posts, etc. were coated with a Ziebart-like coating of wax and oil.
The problem with the finish is getting paint to stick to it. I understand
that certain primers worked, but I don't recall what they were.
