sure sounds like a possible vacuum leak ?? are all the carb hold down nuts tight? or maybe a plugged jet (try "cuffing " the primary carb tops while holding a steady RPM @2000 or so.) it may stir the junk off the jet. if not , take covers off carbs and clean them , rechecking float levels etc. regards, Tim Colson
