The latest issue of Automobile Quarterly (50-4) salutes the 100th  
Anniversary of Chevrolet (200 million Chevrolets built!) with a really nice  story 
on Lois Chevrolet.
 
Included also is a multi-page spread on the Pontiac Tempest and it's unique 
 Corvair based rear mounted Powerglide transmission (split-torque  
principal)!
 
Very interesting article on the steps it took Pontiac to create there  
unique "marriage". As usual they have included an excellent series of archival  
pictures to go with it. 
 
They also discuss the Pontiac 4 cylinder engine and the factory built 421SD 
 racing cars and wagons!
 
I really liked the Le Mans Fleur-de-lis convertible show car!!!!
