Good point -- first one just failed (short). The next two seemed to be 
shorting intermittently, as in I could get spark for a few rpm and then 
it would start cutting out (no spark) -- used timing light to test.  No 
visible exterior damage, second and third ones were both NIB recent 
manufacture.
