<VV> Carb problems - idle circuit help

I recently had the same issue. After reading the traffic here, I took off
the top of the carb and removed the "cluster". Part of that cluster are
some tubes (air bleeds) and one of those is for the idle circuit. I took a
piece of guitar string (about .011" diam) and pushed it through these tubes.
When I pushed it through the idle air bleed, I saw a very small fleck of
something come out. I reassembled the carb and it was back to working as it
should.
You can do this same process without removing the cluster, but whatever you
push out of the tube will likely get sucked back into the tube later
(speaking from experience here).
Good luck!
