Hi Jeremy,

There are lots of Corvairs out there, and the nice thing is they are still pretty budget friendly so you can have a fun car *and* children :-)  Given where you live, you might consider looking for a car from the west, they have a lot less rust.  Even with shipping you can come out ahead - our '66 was a "rust bucket" where I bought it (Seattle), but here on the east coast it's "amazingly rust free".
