Chuck, 

We have not gone quite that far as to comparing the Clark's 260 to a stock
cam. However, we (my mechanic actually)have visually compared the Clark's
260 to the Isky 260. The Clarks has a very abrupt flat ramp after the base
circle. The Isky 260 has a noticeable gradual ramp.

Did you measure the lobes with a caliper or micrometer AFTER removing it? If

not, it would be interesting. Secondly, carefully check the taper on the 
lobes and make sure it is or they are tapered the same direction a stock cam

is tapered.
