Well, yeah, consistently slower!! <g>

I'm with Seth on this one, with an auto, you're a passenger in the
wrong seat. With VERY few exceptions, when two cars, one stick, one
auto, otherwise identical, the stick is definitely the quicker car.

4  SPDs  are  a  blast  to  drive , but , if  you  wanna  be
consistent  at  the  DRAG  Strip  you  better  have  a ,"GLIDE".
Since  3.89  is  the  "TALLEST "  gear  you  can  get  for  a  "Vair" ,
you  gotta  do  some  mods  to  get  the  car  to,"ROLL OUT" [ you have
to mod the  car for Road Racing too]. Still, ... you  will  be  a
winner  with  the ,"Glide" [it  just  won't  be  much  good  for
anything  but 1/4  mile].

Well, sure, but imagine how much faster it'd be with a 4 speed!

John,
Wonder what kind of "calendar" Billy Bruce uses for his PowerGlide 1/4
mile runs?????

Indeed!   I think you time Powerslide cars down the 1/4 mile with a
calendar...

You just need to rewire   your brain as your left foot will be pawing
for
the
clutch   pedal.

Hi Everyone,

1965 Monza

So the bell housing, diff and   trans have been changed. I have the
automatic
instrument panel ready to   go in.
What else needs to be done to complete the change over. I'm at work
and
my
manuals are at home.
Other than the neutral safety switch,   back up lights. Any other
wiring?

Many Thanks in Advance for   advice.

Regards,
Eric
