As most of you know (especially if you were at the Lexington, KY convention 
 where D.E.D., Jr. spoke) David E. Davis, Jr. was with Campbell-Ewald, 
Chevy's  erstwhile, long-time ad agency, in the early '60s and he took credit 
for the  switch in Corvair advertising from emphasizing Corvair's practical, 
economy car  virtues in '60 and '61 advertising to emphasizing Corvairs 
sporting nature with  model year '62.  Jim Bernardin, also of Campbell-Ewald has
