Almost correct.
When Ralph Nader spoke at the 1991 CORSA Convention, he explained that
he "picked on" the Corvair because it was fresh design from the (then)
world's largest automaker.
His opinion was that, with GM's vast resources, the Corvair was an
irresponsible wiff instead of a game-changing and morally-sound home run.
