<VV> Bright Green Carb Deposits

I'm trying to burn off the old gas in my Greenbrier by running it awhile,  
adding 91 octane (to counteract the reduced octane of the old gas) and 
running  it some more.  I'm not in a position to drain the tank right now.  My  
carbs have become clogged again so I'm rebuilding them.  I've got bright a  
bright green coating on everything the fuel touched that I haven't seen  
before.  It is almost fluorescent green.  Is this a "miracle additive"  to 
modern fuels?  Anyone seen the same colors in their carbs.   Enquiring minds want 
to know...........
