<VV> Corvair to VW trans

You can only flip the ring gear to the other side on the old VW swing axle
transaxle.  The newer CV joint IRS transaxle won't allow the swap.
VW flipped the ring gear on the old transporter busses and pickups that had
the gear reduction boxes on the ends of the axles, so reversing rotation
didn't harm a thing.  The VW ring and pinion is a straight bevel gear (not
hypoid) so it doesn't care which way it rotates.  Running a Corvair
transaxle backwards (ala Kelmark conversions) is not good as you are running
on the "coast side" of the hypoid gears.
