Seeing the rivets won't necessarily PROVE anything, but would be a good 
indicator that everything is likely OK.  Only way to know for certain is to 
compare the VIN plate with the "secret" VIN stamped on the frame behind the 
Rt side of the front cross member.  Might be able to see it with a mirror, 
might not.
