                                             B"H

More adventures with the '66. Bad hesitation, check the accelerator pumps, no gas squirting. I order a new pump assembly, take the top of the passenger side carb off and replace the pump, new gasket, install back on the car...

Start her up, she comes to life right away. Drive around the block, hesitation gone! But...

Just as I turn back onto my block, the hestitation comes back. Much worse this time, I drive another time around the block and I'm lucky to get her home, she's running like total cr*p. Stumbling, hesitation, uneven idle.

I thought I had found the cause, but now i'm even worse off than before. I think I'm gonna have to take the whole carb off, not just the air horn, and check float level and make sure all the parts go together nice and smoothly. Did I make a mistake in just trying to take the top of the carb off while leaving the body on the inake? Or should I have taken the whole carb off and serviced it off the car?

Best regards to all...Bill Hershkowitz 66 Monza 110 PG
