Putting back together drive train and have been advised to use two seals in the counterbore of the clutch release bearing shaft. In the dia. area below the undercut (area where seal goes) the bore is smaller than it is where the washer locates. The length of this seal dia area is approximately 3/8 inch and one seal will use up at least 2/3 of it only leaveing just a small place for second seal to mate to. Is there really any advantage to using two seals? Please help, going back together in the morning.
