Actually, I think you CAN post pictures to VV, but they have to be REALLY,
REALLY small or they get rejected (or at best, moderated, and delayed)

At least, that's been my experience.

Linking to a web site is even better, since the size is not as much of an
issue?

For example, some of my Corvair models :
www.yourbuyersinn.com/Models/CorvairBuiltKits.htm

You cannot post photos to VV, but you can to fastvair. At VV you can link to
photos at another web site like flicker or photobucket.
