And I recall Mike Peters, formerly of Corvair Country in Sacramento, 
used to say that the fastest Corvair acceleration was the late model 140 
PG.   However, I don't have the specifics beyond that.  I think by that 
time they got the timing and cam optimized with the 4 degree retard.
