<VV> Starter Adapter Part Id - Pic Attached

 Hello Corvair Enthusiasts & Race Fans - 

Every day is a another corvair learning experience for this ole chump....., Just purchased a stash of corvair parts the other day and ran across this interesting item.  It aligns correctly, on all corvair starters when afixed but what does this adpater attach to on the other end.  Any specific informative clues would be helpfuly and appreciated.  Thinking - bugs, porche, planes, trains, marine and other automobiles.

PS - Spoke with a gent, actually sold some diffs to a guy in Germany a month or so ago that was putting these in a citrogeon (sp) - Don't know the entire application - Also - have acquired some posi's for both early and lates (don't know the ratio off the top), a Mallory Dual point Distributor and tons of other things if interested.
