Interesting. The Car Talk guys say that belt squealing goes away after 
the belt gets warm because the belt gets tighter. I always wondered if 
that was true, as most things get larger when warmer. Maybe they were 
thinking larger cross section= tighter belt. Maybe they weren't thinking!
