<VV> Teflon Tape?

Yes, it works fine on NPT connections.  It was designed to be used with 
NPT connections. These would include oil pressure threads.

The warning is for standard flare and inverted flare fittings as found 
on fuel and brake lines. Teflon (PTFE) tape is NOT designed for these 
connections.
