<VV> dieseling

Well, I was basing my comment on a '73 Pontiac Ventura I had with a 350 V8 and it had dieseling and the problem turned out to be the PCV valve. Replaced it and the problem went away.

Bill, since the source of dieseling is usually not a true mechanical
ault, you are in with the rest of us. The traditional causes have been
isted, but I've never heard of this symptom from a pcv valve, please

Caveat:  I am the LAST person on this list who would hold himself out
s an expert in things mechanical, that said, if I were experiencing
ieseling with one of my Corvairs, the first thing I would check would
e the PCV valve.
