I will answer for Gary.  The color is palomar red metallic and is  the 
original color of the car.  It is really a dark maroon but the camera and 
flash lightens the color.  The paint is PPG base coat, clear coat  (Deltron 
2000 DBC base coat).  I used the expensive stuff for the color but used a 
cheaper Transtar Clear.  I hope I won't regret it but a good PPG clear is 
very expensive.  I figured it would not see any rough weather.  The Transtar 
clear sprayed very nicely.  I used a Devilbiss GFG670G "Plus" gravity feed 
gun.  It atomizes the paint very well.

Thanks for the compliment.  It has been alot of work (and money) but it is 
finally starting to look like a car.
