Howdy,
On the engines I work on I carefuly use an impact wrench to tighten the
stover nuts ( just hit the air as short of a time as I can ) then use the
impact wrench to take the stover nuts off. Usually I have no problem. I have
a modified 13/16 socket ( ground the tapered entry to the hex flat ) that
works way better than a stock socket.
