Telescoping columns routinely sell on eBay for between $500-700.  One sold this week for $685.  Another, nearly identical, did not sell at an opening price of $600.  The seller of the unsold one relisted it at $500, so we'll see what happens.

You didn't mention if yours has a wood wheel attached, but that would affect the price by +/- $100-150.  You also didn't say whether you're a buyer or seller, but if you're a buyer and you bide your time, you can get one on eBay for as low as $400.

At the other end of the scale, there is one that has been on eBay for the better part of a year for $900.  (The guy lists it for $1200 but frequently has a 25% off sale, but it still sits at $900.)  Apparently $900 is north of the range that even the Corvette guys will pay.
