 My thoughts exactly! We have two, one has been upgraded twice. Their website is pretty good too. Put in the serial number, and they'll tell you if you're due for an upgrade. So far, we're good enough, and have been for the last 4 years.

Back when I was on the road a lot I owned many different radar detectors. I
bought a V1 Valentine when they first came out.
It has been upgraded several times by the factory. I have used it for many
years and it is the 
Best out there. Saved me a lot of money. They are not perfect so you do have
to pay 
Attention. One on one with instant on, you are dead meat any way you slice
it.
That same unit is in my truck today, saving me money. Yeah, I know you are
thinking why don't you just do the limit.
Where's the challenge in that?
