<VV> Moving parts in a transformer

Well, nearly all of them move the oil via convection, as pumps, etc., add to the cost, complexity, and diminish reliability.

Most tap changers are done in a switch filled with SF6, as switching in oil under load can have explosive consequences.

At any rate, what goes on in a transformer is nothing like what goes on in an engine. Engines run a LOT hotter, have high pressure lubricated surfaces, the oil is exposed to combustion products, etc, none of which goes on in a transformer.

Some of the larger transformers do have pumps, and radiators. They also have
moveable parts such as tap changers that will step up or step down the voltage
from an electronic system when the need for a change is sensed. If the oil gets
to hot it can be shut down automatically.
