Hi,
Just to make sure I understand this are we saying there are 2 different 4
speeds (the ELM4 and LLM4 below) and that
one is longer, requires a different front mount and requires a different
gasket between the differential and transmission?
If so, which one is longer ?

LLM4 = 66 and up 4 speed
LLM3 = 66 and up 3 speed
ELM4 = 65 4 Speed
LEM4 = 64 (only) 4 speed (Same transmission as ELM4)
EEM4 = 60-63 4 speed
EM3 = Early 3 speed (All Early years and 65) (Far as I know)
