<VV> VITON CRANK SEALS?

I thought it was my imagination...until I talked with a  sales rep  from a 
manufacturer last year.
Viton does not seem to like high speed  rotational movement?...I  have 2 
samples of failed crank seals here. They were properly lubed and  installed. 
The sharp edge was kid of rolled into little brown balls in places. 
Now I am slightly worried about the many I have out there...but so far only 
 2 that I know about have failed.
I dread the day I have to replace them ,even on my own 4 motors  seals  on 
both ends? or is it a "crap shoot"?  My latest motor has the regular  double 
lip black seals on the crank.
I have used Viton  ever since they came out thinking it was the  "best 
way"..
