<VV> fuel consumption

I realize that this comment does not pertain to the stock Corvair, but 
since a number of our friends have "converted", I will mention it.

Those with electric fuel pumps would be wise to not run until 'the last 
drop' -- gasoline is both the coolant and lubricant for most modern 
electric pumps.  In the tank pumps can die within just a few seconds of 
no fuel.

A good habit is formed by repetition, so whether it is your Corvair, 
Model T, or Mom's grocery getter, don't run on empty.
