But Tony, the puller doesn’t engage the inner race...it engages the puller ring, unless of course, you already broken it. I have the full cage pullers...the most expensive you can buy.....and sometimes they won’t come off. Mostly it’s because they were on dune buggies and they generated lots of heat before failing ... partially welding themselves to the axle.
