I depend on my Monza for local daily transportation, and we are getting close to the milestone where the car is reliable and safe to drive on long highway trips, too.

Sometimes it does pay to spend more on a repair that makes sense for Owner A, than Owner B needs to spend, since each owner has unique expections of his or her car.

For me personally time and space to work on the car is at a premium, so I'll sometimes spend more $$$ for an already-rebuilt part than to do the rebuild myself for "cheaper," even though I could probably do the rebuild myself, and for a lot less. Truth is I CAN'T do the rebuild myself due the abovementioned time and space restrictions. I often come home from work after 10 PM and am exhausted and not really up to pulling out the ramps and getting under the old Monza to fix something else that needs attention.

Just my 2 cents into the conversation...Bill Hershkowitz 66 Monza Sport Sedan 110 PG A/C
