<VV> 140 with a single 4 bbl.

 have a 140 with the single 4 bbl Holley 390 carb and I want to switch it to an Edelbrock 500 carb. So just by looking at it, it looks to be somewhat different. My questions are, has anyone done this swap and what did it take and was there anything or extra parts needed? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
