<VV> FC Heater Hose question

Hi Terry,
I just put heater hoses on my '64 (pretty original with 71,000 actual miles) and saw nothing like you describe. I did put an insulator on the left hose available from our vendors where it is very near the starter positive stud. I also put a plastic cap cover over the stud. Let us know what you figure out as I don't like how close they are to that stud. It can "short out" the wire, potentially catch fire, and/or put a hole in the hose reducing the efficiency of the heater. All of this I know you know.
