<VV> Corvair Series 95 heater

SHIELD - GROMMET, w/Defroster

Part # 985089 is listed as:  61....FC.....air.......

The picture on page 165 appears that the arrow(s) for 8.845 point to a gas 
heater as well as gaskets and a shield associated with it.  The notes at the 
bottom of that page say:  1960-61 GAS HEATER, DISTRIBUTOR AND DEFROSTER 
ASSEMBLY (EXC. FORWARD CONTROL).

So, I'm looking at what seems to be conflicting information.  Anyone care to 
enlighten me on how to read this book?
