I will sorta back up Mr Miller's concern here about the rubber plugs used in the drum melting -- however, my solution is much simpler -- if one is using their brakes in a manner to melt the rubber plugs, water getting in the hole will be of no concern -- leave 'em open, the metal ones don't seal anyway.
