Hi Dennis,

Would you post the below to VV for me? Thanks much.

SUBJECT: Advertisement - window stickers and model parts

All,

I now have the ability to produce window stickers for ALL years of Corvair
cars and 'Briers.

However, I'd like to caution everyone that in the process of revamping my
Excel program (a primitive example I've sent out to a number of VV members)
and collecting the data to get it all working, I have also discovered that
there is more to the factory window stickers than meets the eye.

It seems that Jim Osborn's sticker blanks are ALL inaccurate reproductions,
and some are extremely flawed. Only the blank I use for the '69 model year
is accurate, though the '60 second design, '61, and '66-7 blanks are not too
bad. So I can only be as accurate as the blank will allow. I am continually
fine-tuning this program, and will constantly strive to make as perfect a
product as possible.

If anyone is interested in having a blank made for their car, please email
me JUST your name and address, along with the year, model, and body style of
your car, and I will mail you a custom order sheet. The cost will be $25 per
car, payable when you submit your car's data on the order form.

I am going to try to have this service available at the convention, out of
my Motel 6 hotel room. You can readily spot me, as I'll be carrying around
my blue tackle box full of LM AMT model kit parts for sale. And YES I have
4door conversion kits in stock. I also have a number of earlier ('66-later)
kits for sale, as well as diorama items. Email me your requests, and I can
deliver any kits or parts at the convention as well as by mail.
