So, who you ben talkin to? Last time I herd frm ya was nearly 5 yrs ago -
05/07 - and that was about a Rampside.

PASTE from May 2007:

Awesome... my mechanic was going to charge me $$ for an "E"... now I can do
it myself . Thanks for the advice... I'm looking forward to dropping the
tank and doing it right.

Hey Chris....

It ain't all that easy. I don't think there is any calibration adjustment
on the dash gauge. You have to pull the sending unit and test it with an
OHM meter. The range on an EM is 0 Ohms to 30 Ohms. 15 should be showing
1/2 a tank on the gauge. On an FC, you have to drop the tank in order to
get to the sending unit. What I think you are going to find is that a
resistor in the sending unit is shot.

OR.... You could paste a little E onto the face of your gauge in the right

spot until you feel like spending a day in the garage. <GRIN>

So, who has been providing all the good advice and what names on VV have
been acting as your shills? Or did I misread your current message?
