<VV> WATER LEAKING ONTO FRONT FLOOR

Also, the plastic/paper sheet needs to have the bottom edge tucked into the
slot so the water will drain back into the door. Even with plastic, if the
edge is loose, the water falls to the car floor.

I DID see this while sitting in the car during a rain storm.

Another leak I've seen during rain on a late model is the kick panel vent
not sealed well to the metal cowl. Water falls onto the kick panel vent (it
sticks into that plenum area) and drains onto the floor below the plastic
kick panel. It takes a LOT of gook (caulk, sealer, whatever) to seal those
panels.

It turned out my biggest water leak into front floor was from the doors, if
you do not have the stock paper or some plastic stuck to the inside of the
door behind the upholstery panel the water runs down the inside of door,
into the openings and runs into the car between the door and upholstery
panel.

You cannot see this happening
